Happy Sunday and Happy Fall! My favorite time of the year. This past week was extremely busy and it flew by. I wish to say I got a lot of reading done, but that wasn’t the case. I’m reading The Bones of Paris and really liking it, but I just haven’t had much time to read. I’ve gotten quite a bit done this morning and hope that after doing a few chores around the house, I can finish it. Time to buckle down!
I’ve got several books on my Nook right now that I can’t wait to dive into. I’ve been clearing out my review schedule for the next few months so I can get some “me reading” in. Every now and then it’s nice to throw deadlines out the door and just read to read.
I feel like I’m not the only one who has been waiting several months for fall to be back with us. There’s already scary movies playing on TV, including a full day of Hocus Pocus next weekend…. which I will be recording. And check out some of the books coming out this week. A few creepy ones to get us in the mood for Halloween.

IMDB: Just saw the preview today for the new Carrie adaptation? I read that Stephen King asked why remake it when the original was so good. He also suggested Lindsay Lohan for the role of Carrie… and Sissy Spacek agreed… Interesting. She didn’t get the role
